We all thought that we knew everything there is to know about the female anatomy, however it still possesses many unknown surprises: The clitoris measures between 8 and 10 centimetres in length and from 3 to 6 in width. It looks like neither a pea nor a button, but rather more like a pear. Some think that women still haven’t found the key to the orgasm and of course there is the ongoing debate over the vaginal orgasm and the clitoral orgasm.

The Uruguayan director Variety Moszynski has made the documentary Clitoris, ce cher inconnu. Her film explores feminine sexuality and psychology and looks at how although we speak a lot about sex, the actual sexuality of women continues to be something misunderstood. The film looks at how a whole century later we are finally studying female sexuality as much as the male one.
