Wow, LOL, amazing short film, and so recognizable. Wish I met someone this way…

I enjoyed this film a lot. The one problem I had was that the characters were insubstantial. Maybe that’s the point, that it’s something many people can relate to and any substance would confine and limit our relationship to the characters. Also, your suggestion of sex at the end is interesting, because I think a lot of people look for love and tie the two together, but the issue of the relationship between love and sex is complicated and our cultural biases dictate our feelings toward this issue. I think a lot of people enjoy this film because there is a suggestion of love. This is limiting though, and I like your suggestion of sex because to me it can imply a healthy sexual relationship outside the confines of “love” as some sacred and eternal ideal. Often “love” is not accompanied by a healthy sexual relationship. I love you’re work because it offers possibilities that people aren’t used to, a mode of thinking where we’re not required to deny ourselves. Limits are created on the basis of equality and the freedom we gain from this is something I think is both possible and beautiful.
